The nation’s largest health and beauty retailer needed to ensure consistent product availability across a key range of products. The Solution
The retailer partnered with Shepper to run an on-shelf availability programme across 150 locations, covering more than 7,500 SKUs. Shepper’s community carried out in-store checks to capture accurate, real-time data on stock levels across a variety of categories in-store.
The Results
Shepper collected and analysed the data, bringing the findings to life through an interactive dashboard that made it easy to pinpoint exactly where availability was breaking down. The dashboard revealed product availability scores by region, time of day, category, and day of the week, alongside clear visibility of promotional displays in-store.
Equipped with these insights, the retailer gained a clearer view of promotional execution gaps and overall in-store performance. By identifying the categories and products with the lowest availability, they were able to take clear, actionable steps to optimise stock levels, strengthen promotional impact, and improve overall on-shelf performance.
